Adani Wilmar Limited-

ADANI Wilmar is a large FMCG food company that offers essential kitchen commodities to Indian consumers including edible oil, wheat flour, rice pulses, and sugar. There are many brands across the price sector to cater to different consumer groups.

The company was started as a joint venture in 1999 between the Adani Group and the Wilmar group, which is one of Asia’s leading agribusiness groups. The joint venture benefits from Adani group’s understanding of local markets and Wilmar group’s global sourcing capabilities.

The market share of the company’s edible oil is 18.3% making it a dominant oil brand in India. Its edible oil products include soyabean oil, palm oil, sunflower oil, rice bran oil, mustard oil, groundnut oil, cottonseed oil, and blended oil. The packaged food of the company includes wheat flour, rice, pulses, besan, sugar, soya chunks, and khichdi. Its FMCG products include soaps, hand wash, and sanitizers.

The promoters of the company are AEL, ACL, and LPL. Mr. Gautam Adani and Mr. Rajesh Adani are the promoters of AEL. The proceeds from the IPO would be utilized for funding capital expenditure and expansion of the company’s existing capacities, repayment of borrowings, funding the acquisitions, and general corporate purposes.

The total revenue of the company was Rs. 28797.4 crores with a net profit of Rs 375.5 crore(Year ended 31 March 2019), the revenue of Rs.29657crore with a net profit of Rs. 460.8(Year ended 31 March 2020) and revenue of Rs. 37090.4 crore with a net profit of Rs. 727.6 crore(Year ended 31 March 2021).

SAFA SYSTEMS & TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED-

Safa Systems and Technologies Limited were originally incorporated in 2012 in the state of Kerala. The products that it deals with are telecommunication devices, accessories, LED, television, tablets, internet of things products, home appliances, etc. It is a key distributor of electronic products in Kerala and has distributorship agreements with brands like OPPO, Xiaomi, Techno, Micromax, One Plus.

In 2012, the company started its business by becoming a distributor of Micromax smartphones and in 2017-18 it decided it would become a distributor for other brands like Xiaomi, Vivo, LG, etc.

The promoters of the company are Mr.Faizal Bavaraparambil Abdul Khader and Mr. Bavaraparambil Abdhulkadher Hydrose. The objectives of the IPO are to meet the working capital requirement of the company, meet the issue expenses, and general corporate purpose. Listing would enhance the brand name of the company.

The total revenue of the company was Rs. 2.55 crore with a net profit of Rs 35 lakhs(Year ended 31 March 2019), the revenue of Rs.2.55 crore with a net profit of Rs. 31 lakh(Year ended 31 March 2020), and revenue of Rs. 2.09 crore with a net profit of Rs. 29 lakhs(Year ended 31 March 2021).
